Raising children was
never meant to happen alone.
Practical, compassionate support for parents, children and families — through the everyday moments and the harder ones too.
Support for the whole family.
Parenting was never meant to come with all the answers. How We Raise offers practical, compassionate support for parents, children and families — helping you understand what’s happening beneath the behaviour, navigate the harder seasons and feel more connected along the way.

Almost a decade supporting families.
Then I became a mum.
For years, I worked closely with children and families as a nanny, governess, private educator and maternity nurse — supporting the everyday rhythms of family life, the difficult moments and the milestones in between.
Becoming a mother myself changed the way I understood that support. Sometimes parents don’t need more advice. They need reassurance, practical guidance, connection and someone who really listens.
That’s why I created How We Raise — a place for thoughtful support, kinder parenting and a little more village along the way.
You don’t have to wait until things feel unmanageable.
Sometimes it’s one big challenge. Sometimes it’s lots of little things that have started to feel heavy. Support can simply be a space to make sense of what’s happening and find a kinder way forward.
Big emotions
Understanding meltdowns, frustration, overwhelm and what might be sitting beneath the behaviour.
Routines & rhythms
Creating calmer mornings, bedtimes and everyday routines that work for your real family life.
Boundaries
Holding clear, loving limits without feeling like every boundary needs to become a battle.
Transitions
New siblings, starting school, moving home or other changes that can feel big for children.
Connection
When family life feels disconnected, tense or stuck in a cycle you’re not quite sure how to change.
Parent confidence
A place to talk things through, trust yourself again and feel more confident in how you want to raise your child.
Raising children was never meant to feel this lonely.
The Village is a space for real connection — somewhere to find people who understand the strange, beautiful and sometimes overwhelming season of motherhood.
That might look like a pram walk through Valdebebas, a coffee with another mum, a thoughtful letter arriving through your door or simply somewhere online to say, “Is anyone else going through this?”
You don’t need to know anybody already. You don’t need to have everything together. You can simply arrive as you are.
Support should feel simple.
Tell me what’s going on.
Get in touch and tell me a little about your family, what has been feeling difficult and what you would like support with.
We make sense of it together.
We look beyond the behaviour to understand what might be happening underneath — for your child, for you and for your family as a whole.
Find a kinder way forward.
You leave with practical ideas, reassurance and a way forward that feels realistic for your family — rather than another list of things you should be doing.
You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
Whether something has been feeling difficult, you’re looking for a little reassurance or you simply want someone to help you make sense of what’s happening, you’re welcome to reach out.
